PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having a super contrasity by incorporating a tetrazolium compd. And a dyestuff having a peak of abosrption in 400-550nm to an emulsion layer and/or an another hydrophilic colloidal layer, and by specifying ratio of sensitivity to >=30 the at 360nm to at 400nm. CONSTITUTION:As the tetrazolium compd., either a diffusion type tetrazolium compd. or a nondiffusion type tetrazolium compd. may be used in the case that the silver halide is used to the titled material. When the nondiffusion tetrazolium compd. is used to the titled material, the image having a more contrasty is obtd. The tetrazolium compd. is preferable to use 1X10<-3>-1X10<-6>mol per 1mol of the silver halide. As the hyestuff having a peak in 400-550nm has a main absorption over the visible wavelength range of the intrinsic photosensitive wavelength range of the silverhalide emulsion used, it makes easy to handle it under a day light room. Thus, the titled material having a good super contrasty is obtd. |
