<p>PURPOSE:To transfer data immediately and to improve operation efficiency by transferring the data of an EPROM from the socket of a master ROM and writing it in the RAM of a PROM writer. CONSTITUTION:A terminal 6 is inserted into the master ROM socket of the PROM writer; and a socket 2 is provided to a detecting circuit 3 and a converting circuit which is not shown in a figure is provided to a conversion socket board 4. When an EPROM is used by this PROM writer 5 as a substitute for a master ROM sending data to be written in a PROM, the EPROM1 is inserted into the socket 2 fitted to the conversion socket board 4 and the conversion socket board 4 where this EPROM is inserted is inserted into the master ROM socket of the PROM writer. The detecting circuit 3 uses an eight-circuit TTL buffer 74LS541 when the data consists of, for example, eight bits. Therefore, the data is transferred to data terminals of the socket of the master ROM of the PROM writer through the TTL buffer.</p> |
