PURPOSE:To obtain a good meshing condition between teeth, by forming a pitch line and an external diametric line to be in parallel mutually between a circular spline and a spline under a condition that their teeth are actually meshed. CONSTITUTION:Before a wave generator 13 is inserted into a flex spline 12, its teeth 12' are cut so that an axial directional pitch line and external diametric line are previously titled with respect to the axial center. By this constitution, after the wave generator 13 is inserted into the flex spline 12, its axial directional pitch line and external diametric line are placed in a direction agreeing with that of the axial directional pitch line of a circular spline and in parallel with the direction of the axial center in the major diameter side of the wave generator 13. Accordingly, a good meshing condition of the tooth is obtained over its overall length. |
