PURPOSE:To form a press fixing toner having excellent press fixability and developability by mixing a binder resin contg. a compd. having a carbon chain and a raw material mixture composed of a coloring material, suspending and dispersing the mixture in hot water and forming particles by using an inorg. dispersant. CONSTITUTION:A binder resin contg. a compd. having a hydrocarbon chain and a raw material mixture composed of a coloring material are mixed and thereafter the mixture is melted. The molten mixture is suspended and dispersed in hot water by using a dispersion stabilizer consisting of a pulverous inorg. compd. which is hardly soluble in water, whereby a toner is formed. The inorg. dispersant includes hardly water soluble salts such as BaSO4, inorg. high molecular comps. such as talc, bentonite, siliceous diatomaceous earth, clay or the like and powder of metals and metallic oxides. |
