PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous light emission even when an FP contact mode is selected erroneously by generating a difference in level between an FP contact signal and an X contact signal supplied to a comparator, and inhibiting the inversion of the comparator by the FP contact signal. CONSTITUTION:An X contact switch 10 provided to a camera side is connected in parallel to connection terminals 16 and 18 for an adapter 14. An FP contact switch 12 connects in parallel a resistance R1 to connection terminals 16 and 18. The adapter 14 receives the X contact signal and FP contact signal from the camera and supplies a synchronizing signal which synchronizes with the closure of an X contact to a strobe. Resistance R1, R2, R3, and R4 satisfy an inequality I . The output signal of the comparator 20 is supplied to a pulse generating circuit 22, whose output signal appears as the synchronizing signal at the connection terminal 24 between the strobe and adapter. |
