PURPOSE:To supply water into a bath tub with the bath tub being covered, and as well to stop the water supply at a predetermined level of hot-water, by providing such an arrangement that water is supplied through a water filling port in the upper surface of the flange of a bath tub, and a ball which is disposed in a passage communicated with the filling port, is driven by a diaphragm that is moved in association with the water level in the bath tub. CONSTITUTION:A communication pipe 5 connects between a water filling port 3 opened to the upper surface of the flange 2 of a bath tub 1 and a water discharge port 4 formed in the lateral surface of the bath tub, and a faucet 8 is attached to the flange 2 so that the nozzle 7 of the faucet 8 may be moved between its first position where the nozzle 7 is positioned in the inside of the bath tub 1 and the second position where the nozzle 7 faces the water filling port 3. There is provided a ball chamber 11 containing therein a ball 10 for closing a water passage 9, and a diaphragm 12 is disposed in a diaphragm chamber 13 communicated with the inside of the bath tub 1. A water shut-off rod 14 is urged by a spring 15 in the direction of the retraction thereof, in association with the diaphragm 12. A trapping hole 17 is formed in a suitable position in the cam plate 12, and there are provided a lock arm 18 for pushing up the water shut-off rod 14 in association with the rotation of the faucet 8 only when the nozzle 7 is out of the filling port 3. |
