The invention is characterised in that the internal telephone network comprising an automatic switchboard is linked, at the level of several or all of the telephone sets P1, P2... P30, to several peripheral units such as typewriters ME1, ME2..., telex tape punchers PE5, PE6..., monitors or the like, through the automatic switchboard of the internal telephone installation with a view to intercommunicating between two or more internal units and with the outside under remote computerised communication through a dedicated line or a normal line.
