Fuel assembly comprises a sheathed bundle of fuel pencils held in a structure comprising two ends connected by elongated tie bars, typically in the shape of tubes fixed to at least one of the ends by a dismountable threaded joint between a plug of the bar and an element fixed to the end. Specifically, the stopper includes a face axially butting onto the end. A truncated core shaped guide part cooperates with a surface of shape corresp. to that of the end. Devices are provided imposing on the stopper a given orientation about the axis of the tube during its guiding and keeping this orientation afterwards.
