PURPOSE:To detect and correct an error even if it is generated in transmitted printing data, etc. by constituting a titled system so that data is transferred between an electronic scale and a printer, and executing an echo check of the transfer data. CONSTITUTION:An electronic scale 1 is provided with a weight detector 1-1, a weight indicator 1-2, an input device 1-3 for setting a unit price, a unit weight, a tare weight, etc., a CPU1-5 for executing centralized control of them through an interface 1-4 basing on a program, and storage device 1-6 for storing processing data, a program, etc. On the other hand, a printer is also provided with a printing head 2-1, an input device 2-2, an indicator 2-3, a CPU2-5 for executing a centralized control through an interface 2-4, and a storage device 2-6. The electronic scale 1 and the printer 2 are connected by a bi-directional transmission line 3, also both of them are provided with transmitting and receiving means 1-7, 2-7, and a mutual transfer of data is executed between both of them. Also, at least one of the electronic scale 1 and the printer 2 is provided with echo checking means 1-8, 2-8, and detects an error of transmission data. |
