A procedure for making an electric battery housing or casing, as well as the housing or casing provided thereby are described. The procedure provides in general for injection molding formation of a bottom part of the housing and for extrusion forming a tubular member adapted to comprise said housing side-walls. Said bottom part and tubular member are rendered integral with each other by welding, and a closure lid will be applied by a known method to the assembly obtained thereby. |
