<p>PURPOSE:To improve the movement efficiency of a stacker crane by selecting vacant bins, vacant pallets, etc. to process the entry and takeout for each of divided multiple management zones in three-dimensional warehouses with many entry/takeout ports. CONSTITUTION:Automatic three-dimensional warehouses 1, 2 have multiple entry ports 4a-4t and takeout ports 7a-7f; entry and takeout is performed with articles loaded on pallets 18-20; pallets loaded with articles, vacant pallets, and vacant bins coexist on optional exclusively used storage shelves; and storage data of articles, shelf addresses storing vacant pallets, and vacant-bin addresses are updated whenever entry/takeout requests occur. Exclusively used storage shelves are divided into multiple management zones Z1-Z5 with one or more vacant bins and selection of vacant bins and bins storing vacant pallets when entry requests occur and selection of bins storing articles to be taken out and vacant bins when takeout requests occur can be performed in the same management zone respectively.</p> |
