MODULAR HYDRAULIC MINING TOOL AND IMPROVED METHOD OF HYDRAULICALLY MINING MINERAL FORMATIONS OF THE PRESENT INVENTION An improved hydraulic mining tool is disclosed wherein the major components of the tool are formed as separate discreate modules each including a high tortional strength common mounting flange which permits the modules to be interchangeably attached to one another. The mining tool is provided with axial and radial slurry inlets both of which include means for directing a continuous quantity of mined material toward the eductor conduit of the tool. The directing means may be adjusted from above ground surface during the mining operation to maximize mining efficiency in varying consistency mineral formations.
