METHOD AND DEVICE FOR GAS-LIQUID STIRRING

PURPOSE:To stir efficiently the gas and liquid sucked from the upper part of a fluid guide pipe with a simple construction by disposing the fluid guide pipe provided with an impeller in a stirring tank and generating a negative pressure. CONSTITUTION:A gas-liquid stirrer 7 consisting of a fluid guide pipe 8 and a gas-liquid mixing chamber 11 having an impeller 12 is provided in a stirring tank 6. When the impeller 12 is rotated, the liquid static pressure in the chamber 11 decreases and a negative pressure is generated near the lower part 8'' of the pipe 8, by which the liquid 2 is sucked at a high velocity from the top end 8' into the pipe 8. Air 3 is captured and sucked in the state of foam into the liquid by the vortex generated in this state. The liquid 2 and the air 3 sucked into the pipe are mixed and the mixture enters the chamber 11 where the foam 4 is fined by the impeller 12 and is much more mixed by the liquid 4. The mixture is discharged through an outflow port 10. The discharged gas-liquid mixture enters the liquid 2 while stirring the liquid 2 near the port 10 and the entire part in the tank 6 is thus stirred by such foam together with the suction of the liquid 2 into the pipe 8.
