PURPOSE:To generate the prescribed high voltage DC voltage rapidly in response to the variation in a load by providing a plurality of different reference voltages and automatically switching the reference voltages in response to the variation in the load. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of different reference voltages are generated from a reference voltage generator 19, and the generated reference voltages are selectively produced by a switch 21. The variation in a load L is detected by a detector 22, the detected output is applied to a switch 21 through a drive circuit 23, and a reference voltage is selected in response to the accelerating voltage necessary for the load L. This reference voltage is supplied to an error detector 16, and the error voltage between the reference voltage and the divided DC voltage is supplied. This error voltage is supplied to a controller 11, and the DC voltage is outputted in response to the error voltage. |
