PURPOSE:To discriminate automatically an FAC (facsimile device) being an opposite communication party by providing a means discriminating whether or not a group identification signal is incoming within a predetermined constant time to a facsimile controller after the receiving of the identification signal of a called station. CONSTITUTION:A document data is inputted to a memory in an FA(facsimile adaptor) once via a channel and a channel interface from a host computer. A microprocessor (MPU) in the FA controls the operation of each section by the program control. The transmission step between the FA and the FAX is performed via an MODEM in the FA. A character pattern generator is a circuit converting a document data inputted to the memory in the FA into dot pattern and acts also like generation of dot data at each scanning line of the FAX and superimposing the data on a carrier. |
