METHOD FOR MATCHING MAGNIFICATION IN ORIGINAL READER

PURPOSE:To match magnification of reading by a lens to a specified magnification by calculating the amount of movement of an original plane or the like from a difference of size between a projected image of an original picture having a correct size and the projected image set by the lens and moving the original plane or the like according to the amount of movement. CONSTITUTION:One end on a rail 7 is provided with an original moving plate 9 capable of moving minutely in the lengthwise direction of the rail 7 by a micrometer 8 and an original 2 is fitted to an original holder 10. A picture such as black line pattern or the like to be read by an image sensor 5 is drawn on the original 2. The lens 1 is provided fixedly onto a fitting plate 11. An image sensor moving plate 14 is mounted fine adjustably with a micrometer 13. This moving plate 14 is provided with the image sensor 5 where lots of photosensing elements are arranged. This image sensor 5 reads the projected image of a picture 3 reduced and formed by the lens depending on the contrast.
