PURPOSE:To attain low cost and to improve the utilizing efficiency by utilizing a facsimile main wire interface device in common from plural facsimile terminal devices. CONSTITUTION:When the operator of an FAX depresses a start switch, the mode is switched from voice communication to the facimile communication. Then, a main control section performs a procedure with an opposite FAX, decides the facsimile function, indicates an operating condition to a memory section 32 or a redundancy expanding and compressing section 33 and requests transmission/receiving. In case of transmission, a facsimile signal picked-up and scanned at a prescribed speed by the FAX is stored in the memory section 32 in a prescribed speed. When the scanning for one sheet of original is finished, the scanning is halted once and after all the facsimile signal stored in the memory section 32 is outputted to the main wire, the scanning of the next original is started. In case of receiving, a decoded facsimile signal from the main wire is decoded at the redundancy expanding and compressing section 33 and stored in the memory section 32, but the transmission to the FAX is not performed until the storage is finished. |
