PURPOSE:To enable to reliably insert a slot insulator into the prescribed position in a slot by providing means for preventing the displacement of the insulator in contact with the end face of a magnetic core only at predetermined one side, to which the coil of the insulator is inserted. CONSTITUTION:After a slot insulator 3 is bent at one of coil inserting sides of an insulator 4 as displacement stopping means by a slot insulator insulating machine to form cuffs 5, the insulator 3 is bent in U shape and inserted from axially of a core 1 into a slot 2. In this case, the cuffs 5 at the coil inserting side of the insulator 3 is overturned at the outside of a slot wall to become the state for blocking between the slots. However, the end which has no cuffs 5 of the other insulator body 4 is formed along the slot shape, and an air gap is secured between the adjacent slots at the end of the core 1. In this manner, the insulator can be effectively inserted and disposed in the slot 2. |
