PURPOSE:To output data to a mini FAX by providing an FAX interface part with two kinds of control function and varying the frequency of a shift-out clock according to the kind of an FAX. CONSTITUTION:The FAX interface part 8' functions to control a CIIFAX6 and a mini FAX6', and a GII/mini FAX switching circuit 18 generates a switching signal S which controls a GII or mini FAX by the indication of a host computer 1. When the FAX6 is controlled, the shift-out clock of a register 14 is reduced in frequency to a half as high as the clock of the dot data reception part of a transmit picture processing circuit 15, and when the FAX6' is controlled, the clock has the same frequency. Thus, the clock frequency ratio is switched to switch the FAX equipments and created document data is outputted to the mini FAX as it is. |
