Compressed air drying system

System uses a water separator with a drain valve, and two driers with non-return valves and at least one pressure holding valve. The driers are operated alternately; as one dries the compressed air, the other uses a part of the dry air, released through a restrictor, to regenerate its drying medium (molecular sieves). The water separator is drained through its drain valve in the same cycle as the reversal of the driers.
