PURPOSE:To enable fuel to overflow as a pressure valve is opened by providing said pressure valve that opens when the fuel pressure in a fuel chamber reaches a certain value or above in a device in which fuel is fed to the fuel chamber of a carburetor by means of a manual pump. CONSTITUTION:On starting an engine, when an air pump 73 and a manual pump 65 are operated by an operator being grasped in his hands, an air pressure chamber 11 in a carburetor 1 is pressurized causing an operating piece 33 to rise, and a control valve 15 is opened through the rocking action of an arm 27. Also, the valve body 51 of a closing valve 47 is raised and a nozzle passage 37 is closed leaving a very small passage of a notched groove 53. And, due to the operation of the manual pump 65, fuel in a fuel tank 3 enters the fuel chamber 9 through the control valve 15. At this time, the air in the fuel chamber 9 is removed through a nozzle 41 and, after the fuel chamber 9 is filled with fuel, the valve body 91 of a pressure valve 89 is pushed open by fuel pressure, causing fuel to be returned to the fuel tank 3 through a branched passage 87. |
