PURPOSE:To increase the strength of a steering wheel with respect to bending and torsional moments while it is made lightweight, by forming the steering wheel with a core material mainly consisting of a lightweight shape-hold material and a plastic layer reinforced with a unidirectionally reinforcing fiber material. CONSTITUTION:A steering wheel is formed with two separated parts each having a loop form constituted with a rim part 1, a spork part 2 and a boss part 3, and first and second core materials 4, 5 are made of plastic materials such as, for example, foamed materials, or lightweight shape hold materials such as, for example, rubber materials. |
