The invention relates to a shearing drum in which the tubular basic body consists of three parts, namely a tubular basic body (1) and an intermediate ring (2) welded to the tubular basic body (1) and having a conical end ring (3) welded in turn to the intermediate ring (2). These three parts form an outer circumferential surface (4) according to an exponential curve. Through this division, the production of component parts, e.g. of the conical end ring (3) as an inexpensive flame-cut part, is possible, while the basic body (1), for example, is designed as a casting. <IMAGE>
