PURPOSE:To execute measurement with high sensitivity while maintaining small electric power consumption by injecting a sample into a meter, trapping temporarily the gaseous carbon dioxide generated at every injection into a trap for concentrating the gaseous carbon dioxide provided in a rear stage, heating quickly the trap and feeding the concd. gaseous carbon dioxide to a gaseous carbon dioxide analyzing part. CONSTITUTION:When a sample is injected by a required number of time from a septum 6 for injecting sample, the gaseous carbon dioxide formed in a sample reacting part 3 is completely adsorbed in a trap 7 kept at <=100 deg.C. When the temp. of the trap 7 is quickly heated to a high temp. of >=150 deg.C, more preferably >=250 deg.C, all the adsorbed gaseous carbon dioxide is desorbed and is analyzed in an analyzing part 10. A glass tube of 6mm. outside diameter packed therein with 0.6g molecular sieve 5A for a gas chromatograph having 30-60mesh is used as the trap 7 for concentrating gaseous carbon dioxide. An electric heating wire of about 0.35mm. is wound thereon to form a heating element of about 600W. Said element is connected to a heater 8 so that the temp. of the trap 7 is made freely controllable from room temp. to 400 deg.C. |
