In order to make the assembly of a collar thrust cage for rolling contact bearings with undivided races easy while keeping its manufacture simple and cheap and using the optimum load rating even though the races are undivided and in order to achieve good guiding and sliding properties, the collar thrust cage is formed by individual segments (5), each of which has two pockets (7) for accommodating the rolling elements (3, 6), and the web part (8) of the segments (5) is guided in a groove arranged in the race (1, 2). <IMAGE>
