PURPOSE:To improve an operating speed by providing only the locking mechanism for fixing a welding gun to a mounting basal part, and decreasing the weight of mounting members thereby making a robot lightly equipped. CONSTITUTION:A locking mechanism 6 which fixes a welding gun 3 is provided in the mounting basal part 2 at the top end of a robot arm 1. The plural welding guns 3 on a stock base 4 provided in the operating range of said arm 1 are mounted freely attachably, detachably and exchangeably. A driving member 7 for engaging and disengaging said mechanism 6 is installed on the base 4. The weight of the mounting members is decreased by such device and the robot is lightly equipped, whereby the operating speed thereof is improved. |
