PURPOSE:To obtain easily plural kinds of ruled line patterns by drawing a ruled line information obtained from a ruled line information buffer, in a specified entry, in case when an instruction for drawing a ruled line is given from an operator. CONSTITUTION:A document character-string data buffer 21 and a ruled line information buffer 22 are contained in a main memory 12, and a document character-string data and a ruled line data are separated and managed. In this state, when an operator designates a classification of a ruled line by a keyboard 17, a ruled line information of a specified entry consisting of 2-bit in the buffer 22 is outputted. In this case, a ruled line key gives instructions for shifting to a ruled line generating mode, to a CPU11. Also, a selection/execution key selects a kind of a ruled line displayed on a CRT at present, and gives instructions for completion of the ruled line drawing work, to the CPU11. Also, the following candidate key gives instructions to the CPU11 so that the ruled line displayed at present is changed to other kind of ruled line. |
