PURPOSE:To enable the change in the posture of a movable frame and its continuous downward motion, by using a common driving power source to swing a pair of front and rear cam plates to fit the front and rear ends of a roof one by one between rails in accordance with the forms of the cam grooves of the cam plates. CONSTITUTION:A pair of front and rear cam plates 7, 8 with cam grooves 7a, 8a, which are engaged with links 4, 5, are pivotally coupled to the body 1 of a jig and are connected to each other by a rod 9 so that the cam plates are swung by a common driving power source 10. The front link 4 is swung down prior to the rear link 5 in accordance with the forms of the cam grooves 7a, 8a so that a movable frame 2 is inclined downwards at its front. A roof W2 held by clampers 3 on the frame 2 is fitted at the front end first between the roof side rails W3a of both side panels W3. After that, the link 4 is swung to a prescribed position so that the roof W2 is fitted at the rear end between the rails W3a. |
