PURPOSE:To obtain advantageously the titled steel plate by specifying the composition of steel and the ratio of B/N in the steel and by carrying out hot rolling at a relatively low temp. CONSTITUTION:A steel billet contg., by weight, <=0.10% C, <=0.03% Al, <=0.007% N and 0.0010-0.007% B and having 0.4-2.0 atomic ratio of B/N is heated to 1,000-1,200 deg.C and hot rolled at a temp. above the Ar3 transformation point. A hot rolled steel plate for enamel with superior formability and having the resistance to the generation of fish scale can be obtd. advantageously. |
