摘要 |
PURPOSE:To constant a deep water intake channel by a method in which a horizontal tunnel leading to the ground's surface is excavated in the bottom under deep sea, and a vertical tunnel leading the horizontal tunnel to the seabed is excavated by a boring machine on a working ship. CONSTITUTION:In excavating a deep water intake channel for a marine temperature-difference power plant, a vertical tunnel 4 is excavated to a given depth and then recessions 4A and 5A are formed at the lowest bottom. The first horizontal tunnel 5 leading to the vertical tunnel 4 is excavated and the second horizontal tunnel 6 crossing the tip of the tunnel 5 is excavated while grouting for sealing of water. After the inside of the tunnels filled with water, a water intake tunnel 7 is excavated by a large-diameter boring machine from the upside of a working ship 14 to complete a deep water intake channel. |
