发明名称 CONTINUOUS SPRAYER FOR METAL BY INERT GAS
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a device which can produce continuously metallic powder with good productivity by connecting means for separating the metallic powder and inert gas and recovering the powder and the gas to a spray tank and making the same into hermetic construction. CONSTITUTION:A molten metal chamber 14 and a spray chamber 16 formed by partitioning a spray tank 10 by means of a plate 12 are deaerated and thereafter inert gas is introduced therein. The inside of the chamber 16 is maintained under the pressure slightly higher than the pressure in the chamber 14. The molten metal 24 held in a melting furnace etc. 28 is fed into a crucible 20 by opening a nozzle 32, and the molten metal level in the crucible is maintained constant. The molten metal is heated by a coil 22 so that it is maintained at a prescribed temp. A stopper bar 42 is thereupon pulled upward to allow the molten metal to flow downward through a nozzle 26; at the same time, the sliding nozzle 52 on the plate 12 is opened to eject inert gas from a nozzle 46 around the open bottom end of the crucible. The down flowing metal 24 is then sprayed in ultrafine particles which are cooled to solidify in the chamber 16. The formed metallic powder is recovered in powder recovering devices 60, 70. The inert gas separated there is subjected to dust removing, cooling, etc. by devices 86, 84, etc. in a recovering device 84 for said gas and thereafter the gas is pressurized and is supplied to a supply flow passage 48.
