<p>In the case of a wooden frame for a racquet having a head section (10) and a handle section (11), integrally formed with the latter, as well as having reinforcing parts (12, 13, 14) for the head section and a neck piece (15), at least the neck piece (15) is produced from cellular plastics material. The cellular plastics material may comprise a polyurethane foam or a polymethacrylimide foam. The use of a plastics material for the neck piece produces a reduction in the overall weight of up to 12 g in comparison with an "all-wood" frame. <IMAGE></p> |
