PURPOSE:To reduce the side and the cost by commonly using a heat sink plate, thereby narrowing the space of mounting the plate in a bidirectional thyristor. CONSTITUTION:The first bidirectional thyristor 2 is conducted when a motor rotates normally, the heat radiated from the thyristor 2 is dissipated through a heat sink fin 7 and further through a heat sink plate 6. When the motor, on the other hand, reversely rotates, the heat radiated from the second bidirectional thyristor 3 is dissipated through a heat sink fin 8 and further through the plate 6. An insulated bidirectional thyristor is used for the bidirectional thyristor of small current value, and noninsulated bidirectional thyristor is used for the bidirectional thyristor of large current value, thereby increasing the heat dissipating effect of the both bidirectional thyristors. |
