The present invention relates to a device comprising sections forming horizontal hooking rails having a T-shaped flange perpendicular to the wall to be clad and hooking means securely fastened to the cladding panel and arranged along the upper and lower edges of this panel in order to hook onto the flanges of the sections. In accordance with the invention, the hooking means 8-11 have hooking channels or notches 10-13 directed towards the corresponding neighbouring edge of the panel 5, the hooking means 11 neighbouring at least one of the edges of the panel being elastically deformable. The invention ensures easy and strong fixing of cladding panels on the facade. <IMAGE>
