Part gripping around the foot of an individual or clip-shaped part having tension cords in order to exert forces in the orthopaedic treatment of the foot or ankle. Two opposite, cushioned pads (17, 18) arching into the clip interior are provided for the form-fitting bilateral engagement with the heel-bone. A recess (19) in the clip interior essentially extending from the top downwards and between the pads (17, 18) is intended to accommodate that part of the foot which surrounds the Achilles tendon (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
