PURPOSE:To increase the cleaning effect for the titled core plate in a short time by a method wherein the steel band is shifted while a moving-stopping operation is repeated in a cleaning solution following the cutting of the core plate. CONSTITUTION:The steel band 11 is soaked from a hoop 4 into the cleaning solution 10 filled in a container 5, guided by a guide roller 52, brought to the point located on the lower side of the shear 8 on an automatic cutter 7, and reaches a standard length stopper 9. When the tip of the steel band 11 comes in contact with the stopper 9, a feeding roller 6 stops, and subsequently the steel band 11 is cut in the specific length. This cutting operation is repeated using the stopper 9, the shear 8 and the roller 6. Accordingly, the steel band 11 is shifted while a moving-stopping operation is repeated. The steel band is always vibrating minutely and complicatedly due to the above-mentioned operation. This vibration is transmitted to the surface of the steel belt 11 where cleaning solution 10 is contacted, and cleaning effect can be obtained without providing a special device, and also the dust thrown off from the steel belt is slipped down from the surface of the steel belt. |
