<p>PURPOSE:To reduce production of noise in a low frequency range, by a method wherein exhaust mufflers in plural stages are connected to an exhaust pipe, and are submerged in a hot water storage tank togetherwith a combustion chamber and the exhaust pipe. CONSTITUTION:When combustion starts in a combustion chamber 1 and combustion gas is fed in an exhaust gas muffler 14 through an exhaust pipe 2, combustion gas is repeatedly dispersed and collides within the exhaust muffler 14, and is decreased in sound for exhaust. Further, since the exhaust muffler 14 is submerged in a hot water storage tank 11, vibration of the wall surface of the exhaust muffler is absorbed by water in the hot water storage tank and the wall surface of the exhaust muffler 14 is effectively utilized as a heat transfer surface which serves to exhange the heat, resulting in further increase of the coefficient of heat exchange.</p> |
