PURPOSE:To provide a polyester resin compsn. having improved impact resistance, by melt-mixing a modified polyolefin and a specified copolymer with a thermoplastic polyester. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. is obtd. by melt-mixing 3-50pts.wt. modified polyolefin (A) obtd. by adding 0.001-10mol% of an alicyclic carboxylic acid contg. a cis double bond in the ring, such as endo-bicyclo-(2,2,1)-5-heptene-2,3- dicarboxylic acid, and 50pts.wt. alpha-olefin/glycidyl (meth)acrylate (vinyl acetate) copolymer (B) consisting of 80-99wt% alpha-olefin such as ethylene, 1-20wt% glycidyl (meth)acrylate and 0-19wt% vinyl acetate with 100pts.wt. thermoplastic polyester (C) having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.5 or above and consisting of a dicarboxylic acid component contg. at least 40mol% of terephthalic acid and a diol component such as ethylene glycol. |
