PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a rotor commutator segment by dividing and manufacturing a coil insertion unit and a body and integrating them by welding, thereby improving the yield of a material. CONSTITUTION:A body 11 and a coil insertion unit 12 which construct a commutator are separately formed in a flat plate state, both are butted in T shape, and the contacting parts are integrated by electron beam welding. Then, the flat plate part of the insertion unit 12 which is extended at both sides from the welded position to the body 11 is bent and erected. Eventually, both flat plate parts are opposed in parallel at the prescribed interval to each other, thereby forming a commutator segment. |
