PURPOSE:To unnecessitate a releasable layer and obtain an overprint layer excellent in abrasion resistance or the like, by a method wherein a material comprising a butyral resin as a main constituent with an isocyanate added thereto is used as an overprint layer of a transfer film. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal transfer film comprising an overprint layer, a magnetic layer and/or a print layer and an adhesive layer sequentially provided on a polyester base, a material comprising a butyral resin as a main constituent with an isocyanate added thereto is used as the overprint layer. Further, a urethane resin or a vinyl resin is added in a quantity of not larger than 40wt% per 100wt% of the butyral resin, as required. Further, by adding stearic acid, a plasticizer or silicone as an additive, abrasion resistance or the like can be enhanced. |
