PURPOSE:To conserve energy, by expanding a high-pressure gas in a state approximate to an isotropic change and by thereafter transferring heat from the air to the gas. CONSTITUTION:A gas is supplied from the gas inlet port 1 of a gas temperature heightener to a heat separator 2, in which the gas is expanded in a state approximate to an isoentropic change. After the temperature of the gas is dropped down to -40 deg.C, the gas is discharged through an oulet port 3 and sent to an air heat exchanger 4, in which the gas of -40 deg.C is heightened of the temperature to about -10 deg.C by heat transferred from the air. The gas is thereafter discharged through an outlet pipe 5. The temperature-heightened gas is sent to a heat exchanger 6, in which the temperature of the gas is heightened further by heat transferred from heating pipes 7. |
