The invention concerns a new type of reaction turbomotor receiving or providing power and capable of operating without the help of fixed blades. The invention is based on the use of a mobile set of blades constituted from a grid of blades 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, etc. characterised in that their outline forms a regular line described as "with change of direction of curvature and alternating curvature" allowing the compression or expansion function to be carried out without requiring or necessitating the use of fixed blades for this purpose. Among the applications of the invention may be mentioned the possible use on a turbojet, turboprop, turbocompressor, turbostarter, power turbogenerator, gas turbine, steam turbine, hydraulic turbine, turbopump, blower, fan, wind engine, hydrodynamic transmission, flow meter and more generally on any reaction, compression and expansion turbomotor using compressible or incompressible fluid. <IMAGE>
