PURPOSE:To smoothly rotate a stepping motor at exciting pattern switching time of a controller by providing means for storing the exciting pattern of an output pulse. CONSTITUTION:When one stepping motor 14 is controlled by two controllers 40, 50, the pulse output from the first controller 40 is input to the second controller 50 so that all pulses are applied from the controller 50 to the motor 14. The controller 50 has a means for storing the exciting pattern of the pulse output at previous time, a means for judging whether there is a variation in the pattern, and pulse generating means for outputting the pulse of the pattern continued to the previous pattern stored when the variation is judged. Thus, when new drive pulse is output from the controller 40, the pulse matched to the pattern of the pulse output finally from the controller 50 is again output from the controller 50. |
