The invention relates to a plane level. According to the invention, the plane level comprises in particular a bottom surface 1 resting on the surface to be tested, an extruded body 2 giving rigidity to the surface 1 and at least one bubble phial 3. The plane level is characterised in that the body 2 and the surface 1 extend in at least two directions which form branches 6 and 7.
