PURPOSE:To prevent hang-up between each of single yarns, enlarge the contact area with the fluid and effect the function relating to functional group to the full by performing the chemical treatment to fiber after crimping and by introducing functional group. CONSTITUTION:Each of single yarns of multifilament is crimped. By this process, each of single fibers is separated and independent to keep away each of them from adherring closely. The number of crimping is preferably around 20-200 point of variation per on inch. The yarn is preferably 2-100cm<2>/g bulkiness. The fiber is preferably of chemical structure easy to introduce functional group such as vinyl polymer or copolymer. If it is reinforced with poly alpha-olefin, its mechanical properties are enhanced. As chemical treatment, crosslinking treatment and functional group introduction treatment are adopted. As a functional group, group carrying basic nitrogen atom, substance of physiological activity, antibody against specific antigen and the like are applied. |
