1. Intra-uterine contraceptive device for treatment in the shape of a heart, open at the top, constituted by a lower vertical support 1, from the upper extremity of which start two semicircular segments 2a and 2b, which are concave inwards, whose upper extremities are spaced apart, characterised in that the said segments 2a and 2b have at their lower part two successive curves, which are symmetrical with respect to the vertical axis of the said support, the first C1 being turned outwards and the second C2 inwards. 2. Intra-uterine contraceptive device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the said vertical support 1 is internally lined with a tubular element 3 made of copper. 3. Intra-uterine contraceptive device according to either of Claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the said vertical support 1 has at its lower extremity 5 a hole 6 in which a thread is passed forming a loop 4. 4.
