A process and equipment for producing granulated paraffin and granulated paraffin compound comprise the processing of the starting material in a heated state and subsequent cooling down to a plasticising state which allows extrusion through a perforated disc. A cutting device severs the strands formed, whereupon the granules are cooled, while passing through a vibratory conveyor, to form a pourable material.
