The invention relates to an electric heating cost allocator having a first temperature sensor, which measures a radiator (heater) temperature, and having a second temperature sensor, which measures a lower temperature, in particular the temperature of return (circulating, recirculated) air. The radiator which is to be monitored by the electric heating cost allocator has a thermostat valve, and the second temperature sensor, which measures the lower temperature, in particular temperature of the return air, is arranged in the interior of the thermostat valve and is electrically connected to the housing of the heating cost allocator by means of a lead wire.
