PURPOSE:To face a printing hammer and a type belt to each other at the time of collision and moderate variation in density of printed characters, breaking- off of the characters or the like, by inclining the arranging direction of the printing hammer by an angle in a direction opposite to the moving direction of the type belt. CONSTITUTION:An actuator lever causes the printing hammer 3 to fly in the direction of the type belt 1 against a spring force of a hammer-returning spring 5. The printing hammer 3 collides against the type belt 1 (being continuously moved) through a printing paper 1 and an ink ribbon 7 while being inclined by an angle -alpha against the direction orthogonal to the type belt 1. Since the hammer 3 is inclined by the angle alpha toward the belt 1 by the belt 1, the belt 1 and the hammer 3 are faced to each other at the time of collision, so that variation in density of printed characters in transverse direction, breaking- off of the characters or the ike can be moderated. |
