The invention relates to a shelf unit having a device for supporting shelves, at least two of which are arranged one above the other and which have cutouts provided vertically one above the other and in alignment with one another, furthermore having vertical columns whose ends engage in a cutout in each case. The invention is characterised in that the cutouts are through-bores, in that an insert is recessed into each of these bores, the outside diameter of which insert corresponds to the clear width of the relevant bore and which has a flange which points outwards and lies at the bottom of the relevant shelf, in that the insert has a hollow interior into which the relevant end of the corresponding column fits, and in that the insert has a bottom which is located between the upper and the lower surface of the relevant shelf and which has a stop for the end of the relevant column. |
